Once more there is the long-awaited festival of our small town, Santa Cecília de Voltregà. There are not many activities taking place, but they are all in a family environment. Some of the more known and awaited events by all the people in town are the orientation race, the night walk, the 4×4 circuit, the painting contest and also the popular breakfast with botifarra and toasts…
Santa Cecília is a small town of only 183 inhabitants. It is a friendly village formed by scattered farmhouses, bounded by Les Masies de Voltregà, Gurb, Sant Bartomeu del Grau and Sobremunt. Its municipal territory stretches through the valley, forming the inferior course of the Sorreigs stream, suited between the Tuta and Santa Perpètua tops and Sant Martí Xic or the Voltregà castle.
If you visit us, you will be able to see el Gorg Negre, a bottomless pool with magical connotations, according to legends, the church of XVIII century, you may walk by the path tracing the Sorreigs stream from the Plana de Vic to El Lluçanès, or climb Sant Martí Xic.
The landscapes and cultural legacy are offering extraordinary and incomparable sites. Therefore, Santa Cecília is an ideal spot to spend a weekend or even your holidays.
